JUNIORS - WATCH HERE FOR TRY-OUT RESCHEDULE DATES TBA IMPORTANT: 2010 Chico Little League Fundraiser Information:This year Central, Eastside, Westside, El Rancho and Chico Softball Little Leagues have joined forces to put together a fundraiser with great raffle prizes. In the past, registration, sponsorships and our smaller fund raisers such as the Good Guys Golf Tournament, opening day BBQ’s, raffles, etc. helped to cover the operating costs of our league and allowed us to save just a little. During these hard economic times it is becoming increasingly harder to raise sponsorship money from local businesses. In order for all the leagues to keep registration fees down and continue improving the quality of our equipment, uniforms and league fields, we must be more driven and creative in our fundraising endeavors.
This year more than any other we need the support of the players and parents of all the Chico Leagues to make this year’s fundraiser a success. This year’s raffle should be a fun and easy sell for our players and parents. Raffle tickets are $5 (tax deductible) with the purchaser receiving a $3 redeemable coupon from Round Table Pizza, (Net $2) investment. A very small price spread over the community, for the support of our leagues. In return a chance to win some great raffle prizes!
Our Grand Prize winner will win a “Complete Home Theater System (63” Plasma Tv) from Sounds by Dave ($9,000 value). 2nd place winner will receive ($4,000 cash). 3rd place winner will receive a Travel gift certificate from AAA Travel ($2,500 value). 4th place winner will receive a Home Computer System (Home Computer, Printer, Wireless Router, & Laptop) from Computers Plus. 5thplace winner will receive a gift certificate from 5th Street Steakhouse ($250 value).
Although parents may purchase raffle tickets we do not expect them to be the sole supporters of this fundraiser. In order for this to be successful it needs to be more of a community wide raffle. Incorporate friends, co-workers, neighbors and extended family. Winners do not need to be present to win. Drawing will be held May 21st *Our goal is to have players complete their fundraising commitment of 10-tickets by March 22nd.*
